But Rolex definitely picked the right manufacturer for the job, as zenith made something not only collectable, but as durable and reliable to match! This S serial gets the Inverted 6 too. Look closely at the hour counter subdial and the 6 follows the dial around, leaving it looking like a 9 - a small little quirk that only happened for a short time and has become one of the defining details of the early Zenith Daytonas. This one is really, really clean. Beautiful brushing, nice tight…
