About this watch
For your consideration is this extremely rare and collectable Rolex Cosmograph Zenith Daytona in unworn, NOS condition. This particular example is made all the more special because of its local provenance, having been originally sold here in Sydney, Australia. Features include hours, minutes, running small seconds, luminous hour markers/hands, chronograph function with screw-down pushers and screw-down crown helping ensure up 100 metres of water resistance. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with folding Oysterlock clasp. To top it off, the watch is powered by the legendary Zenith automatic calibre 4030. It's still somewhat mind-blowing to think that even the world's biggest and most powerful watch company decided to outsource the movement powering its flagship chronograph watch, but this movement is just so damn good (even by modern standards) that even Rolex put aside its ego and went with it.
