This 1981 16758 features an early tritium Rolex “nipple” service dial with service hands. Good overall condition, no box or papers.Case and bezel: The solid 18K yellow gold case presents well with light hairline wear consistent with age—no heavy knocks. The crown guards are strong and defined. The bidirectional 18K bezel with black aluminum insert looks clean and turns as it should.Movement, dial, and crystal: The Cal. 3075 automatic is running smoothly and keeping great time. The glossy black service nipple dial has raised gold markers and pairs with later service hands for bright, even lume. It is in great condition aside from one small mark around 7-8, and a small mark on the side of the dial around 4-5. Sapphire crystal is clear and presents the dial beautifully.Bracelet/strap: Wears nicely on a leather strap with a plaque Rolex buckle fitted. Notes/inclusions: No box or papers.Feel
