Omega Speedmaster Professional 42mm White Dial 310.30.42.50.04.001 The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch usually needs little introduction, but for those unaware it went through a major revamp in 2021. Updates include a move to the new 3861 Co-Axial movement, which is METAS certified, and features a free-sprung balance wheel and silicone balance spring. It now features a 42mm asymmetrical case, stepped dial, and dot-over-ninety (DoN) bezel, and a new beautifully tapered bracelet, combining some of the most beloved classic Moonwatch features with a movement to bring it firmly into the 21st century. Then, in early 2024, Omega gave it's fans what it wanted and released this white-dialled beauty. While this isn't the first Speedy with a white dial, it's the first we've seen in some time, and is quite different to those that came before it. The dial is lacquered, so has a shine and depth not seen in other references, and is a perfect base for the black applied mirror-polished markers. The touch of red for 'Speedmaster' is the icing on the cake, and for us it's the coolest regular production Speedy in the current catalogue.
