Omega Speedmaster Racing Co-Axial Chronograph 326.32.40.50.06.001 Launched at Baselworld in 2012, the Racing Co-Axial is a modern sports-take on the Speedmaster, and harks back to the original racing heritage of the Speedmaster before it became synonymous with outer space. Utilising a 40mm case crafted in steel, with a lug to lug 45.7mm and a thickness of 15.1mm. It's surrounded by a steel bezel with black aluminium insert with highlights of yellow to match the hands, and 100m of water resistance. Within this case lies a beautiful brushed anthracite dial with printed lume plots. At 9 we have running seconds, a 12 hour counter located at 9 with integrated date window, and 30 minute counter at 3, with all sub-dials featuring a waffle texture and all chronograph hands in yellow for maximum legibility. Powering it is the automatic Omega caliber 3330, based on an ETA but modified with a co-axial escapement. Finishing it off is a model-specific integrated black rubber strap with Omega deployant, and utilises the same texture seen on the sub-dials, and yellow accents for a fantastic level of cohesion.
