Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono 'Cycling Edition' M25827KN-0001 For us, the FXD series are the best modern Tudors that have been released to date, bar none. For those not familiar with their vintage Tudor's, the holy grail's for most collectors are the MN pieces, military pieces produced for the French Navy, or Marine Nationale as they are known in their homeland. In 2021, Tudor reignited their collaboration with MN, and the FXD was born. In 2023 Tudor started experimenting with alternate case materials for the series with the Red Bull Alinghi series, and in 2024 the 'Cycling Edition' was introduced. Utilising a new 43mm case made from a carbon composite with regular FXD fixed lugs, and is far thinner than a regular Pelagos at 13.2mm thick (1mm thinner than a Pelagos LHD). This is always noticeable as the dial is far closer to the sapphire crystal than on a regular Pelly. It houses a super-legible matte black dial with white markers and classic Snowflake hands, both heavily lumed, with a beautiful deep red, almost burgundy, tachy scale on the rehaut, which is raised above the dial creating a great sense of depth.
