S.U.F Helsinki SUF 180 NWC Neighbourhood Watch Club LE As you’re probably aware, we’re enormous fans of Sarpaneva here at Watch Vault, as evidenced by an image of one of their pieces greeting you on our homepage. As spectacular as they are, their price point can sometimes be prohibitive. But alas, Stepan and his team have a solution to this issue, and that solution is S.U.F Helsinki. What Tudor is to Rolex, S.U.F is a sub-brand of Sarpaneva and allows some of Stepan’s watchmaking magic to accessed by more people. But it’s not only a price-pointed product. They are quite different to Sarpaneva in their mostly tool-watch vibe, and therefore have an appeal all of their own. This particular piece is known as the 180, and is a part of a range of ‘Field Watches’ available from S.U.F. It features a beautifully proportioned and very easy-to-wear 38.7mm case made of Finnish steel, measuring just 8.9mm thick and 46.4mm lug-to-lug like all SUF180's, however this piece is a little more special as it was made in a limited run of 10 pieces for LA-based watch collecting group, Neighbourhood Watch Club.
