Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar Q4138420 The Master Control line has been a staple of the line-up for some years now, and is Jaeger LeCoultre doing what it has traditionally done best; beautiful, classic complicated dress watches made to an extremely high standard at very reasonable money. While we love the simple executions of the MC line, the complicated pieces stand out as something truly special. This particular version is known as the Master Control Chronograph Calendar, and features a triple calendar in the classic JLC layout, and adds a Chronograph complication on top. Serious watchmaking, from a serious watchmaker. It features a wonderfully proportioned and beautifully finished steel 40mm case measuring just over 12mm in thickness, and a compact 47.5mm lug-to-lug. Within this case lies a silver opaline dial which is surrounded by a Pulsations scale, for that proper mid-century chronograph charm. The dial layout is classic JLC Triple Calendar, with apertures for the month and day of the week, and a subdial featuring a pointer date which sits above a wonderfully detailed starry-skyed moonphase.
