Kudoke K2 Bright Silver For those that don't know Kudoke, they're definitely an Independent worth having on your radar. The eponymous brand of Stefan Kudoke, Master Watchmaker and GPHG laureate, he was best known for his meticulous hand skeletonizing and engraving work, but in recent years has branched out to include some less intricate time-only pieces to the range, and thus allowing more people to experience the magic of this brand. The piece we have here is the second amongst this HANDwerk (handmade) line, and is known simply as the K2. Featuring a 39mm case in steel, which stands at 10.7mm high. It is within this case that some proper magic lies. The base dial features a frosted white finish, with an outer rhodinized ring for the minute track. At 12 lies an intricate hand-engraved day/night indicator, electroplated in black & white rhodium as well as yellow gold and looks absolutely spectacular in person. The hands are tempered blue steel, with the signature Kudoke infinity hour hand giving amazing legibility against the white of the dial. Powering it is the in-house Kaliber 1-24H.
