Oan.Gio Occulus Purple Lavender Many of you won't have heard of Oan Gio before, but they are a microbrand that should definitely be on your radar if you appreciate craftsmanship, design and frankly astonishing value watchmaking. The brainchild of Nghia Nguyen Dai, who oversaw production and innovation at a French watch brand prior to the creation of Oan Gio in 2024, who teamed up with his brother, previously been a product designer at Rolex, and created a brand that pays homage to true craftsmanship and creativity. This particular piece belongs to a limited production line known as the Occulus, and takes its inspiration from the radiating circular pattern of the dome ceiling design of the Pantheon in Rome. It utilises a stainless steel case measuring in at 40mm, with a thickness of just 10.9mm including the box sapphire crystal, and a lug-to-lug of 45.9mm. The dial is where the artistry is, and it features a brass base with nickel sunburst coating in purple lavender, that is hand turned guilloché by the Renzetti family in Milan.
