IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Rattrapante Chronograph IW3751-005 - Serviced The story of the IW3751 starts in 1985. On the back of the quartz crisis IWC decided they needed to meet it head-on, and thus created the IW3750, a perpetual calendar chronograph based on the famed module created by Kurt Klaus. With it's stunning double-stepped case and unique lugs, combined with it's high-horology complications, it was both classical and forward-facing in its design and proved to be an immediate hit with collectors. Fast forward 10 years, and in celebration of this milestone watch for IWC, they created the IW3751 which added a split-second to the chronograph while retaining everything the collecting community loved about the IW3750. The case itself measures in at 39mm, with a thickness of 16mm, and is crafted in 18k yellow gold. The double-stepped bezel is utterly gorgeous, and the unique articulating lugs makes it extremely comfortable on the wrist. Within this case lies a silver opaline dial with the classic IWC Kurt Klaus Perpetual calendar layout.
