The Rolex Air-King reference 14010M in stainless steel. The Air-King name goes back to the 1940s, when Rolex created it as a tribute to the pilots of the Royal Air Force, and for decades it has been the purest, most wearable way into the Oyster family. This 14010M is a great example of the modern era of that story: a 34mm Oyster case, sapphire crystal, and a self-winding movement, with nothing added that you do not need. The blue sunburst dial is the highlight. It shifts from deep navy to bright blue as it catches the light, and carries the Air-King signature 3, 6 and 9 Arabic numerals between applied baton markers, with Precision printed below centre. The engine-turned bezel adds texture without the formality of a fluted bezel, and the brushed Oyster bracelet keeps it comfortable and sporty.
