Absolutely oozing with vintage charm, this solid gold Bubbleback has way more substance to it than you might expect from something this size! Historically these were quite significant and one of the first “collectable” Rolex models as they were some of Rolex’s earliest successful automatic Oyster Perpetuals - with that famous domed caseback created to make room for the self-winding movement. These were important watches for Rolex long before Subs, GMTs and Daytonas took over the conversation. Beautiful Arabic and dagger dial, outer minute track, lovely aged lume and that little gold seconds hand tying it all together. This is the sort of Rolex you just don’t see often anymore.
