You’ve got a super legible and beautifully lumed dial with little pops of yellow, chronograph, day-date, 300m water resistance and the really cool SafeDive system with a bidirectional outer bezel controlling the unidirectional internal dive bezel. There’s a lot going on, but somehow it still doesn’t feel overly busy. It’s not a small watch, but don’t let the 44mm put you off. The lugs turn down sharply and it wears far better than the dimensions suggest. The rubber strap is long, comfortable and durable, plus you’ve got IWC’s quick-change system if you want to swap it out. For $4,999, there’s honestly not much out the…
