As much as I love the Tank Louis, the biggest problem with the vintage ones is that they’re often just too small. Not this one! The Jumbo wears more like a 38–39mm round watch, goldilocks size for majority of wrists - and with that beautiful solid gold case, it’s got a heap more presence than you’d expect! And the really interesting part - The 17002 is the only automatic Tank Louis of its era! Flip it over and you’ll notice the raised, almost bubble-shaped caseback to accommodate the movement.
