Worn by racing legends such as Jochen Rindt, this model has real motorsport DNA, and this particular example presents beautifully with all the right patina.Case and bezel: The 40mm case is in good vintage condition, with some expected light wear throughout, and no major dings or damage. The rotating bezel shows a charming “ghost fade” patina, but remains fully legible, with that classic tachy scale that gives this piece its tool-watch edge.Movement, dial, and crystal: The Valjoux 72 movement is running well, and the chronograph is functioning exactly as intended with a crisp pusher feel. The matte black dial with white sub-dials is in excellent condition, showing no major marks, and the lume plots have aged evenly with warm patina. The plexiglass crystal is clean and clear.Strap: It’s currently fitted to a high-quality black rally-style strap with a later TAG Heuer-signed buckle (non-original to the watch but fits the era nicely).Inclusions: No box or papers with this o
