The 25574BA is nicknamed “The Owl” thanks to the two symmetrical sub-dials stare back at you with a personality that’s hard to forget. Instead of hiding the day and date behind small apertures, AP gave each complication its own full rotating disc, offering a new relationship with the complication.Case and bezel: The 18K yellow gold stepped case is in great overall condition, showing light wear consistent with its age. The warm gold tone is rich and even throughout, and the stepped bezel design retains excellent definition.Movement, dial, and crystal: The AP automatic movement is running well and keeping good time. The white porcelain dial is in good overall condition, however it’s worth noting there is slight hairline cracking between the 5 and 6 o’clock and 10 and 11 o’clock positions, which is not uncommon for porcelain dials of this era and is priced accordingly.
