About this watch
Founded in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch manufacture in continuous operation. Through its Les Collectionneurs programme, the maison sources rare vintage watches from auctions and private collections, restores them in its own Geneva workshops, and offers them with a Vacheron Constantin certificate of guarantee and a history from its archives detailing when and where the watch was first sold. A 1949 Vacheron Constantin 4217 in 18k yellow gold from the Les Collectionneurs programme. The 33.5mm case frames a black lacquer dial with faceted gold hour markers, powered by a manual-wind movement restored by Vacheron Constantin. Presented in excellent vintage condition, it comes with its Les Collectionneurs certificate, extract from the archives, Vacheron Constantin box, extra straps and an 18ct Vacheron Constantin buckle.
