About this watch
Introduced in 1950, the Memovox (“voice of memory”) was LeCoultre’s mechanical alarm wristwatch, built to sound a gentle buzz at a set time as a reminder. Sold in the United States under the LeCoultre name, often in gold-filled cases, the early Memovox has become one of the most collectable vintage complications of the 1950s. A circa 1950s LeCoultre Memovox wrist alarm in a gold-filled case. The 34mm case houses a manual-wind alarm movement, with a white dial and a central disc for setting the alarm time, and the alarm is in working order. Presented in good vintage condition, offered as watch only on a leather strap.
