The Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 3796 is a direct descendant of the legendary Ref. 96 and arguably the last true “legacy model” from the firm, produced between 1982 and 1999. It preserves the classic 31mm footprint and graceful tapered lugs that defined Patek’s ultra-refined dress watches of the early 20th century. The ivory dial, with its subtle glazed finish, was a rare and highly desirable option during the reference’s production run. A 1990s Patek Philippe Calatrava 3796 with an ivory dial, and small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The 31mm case houses the manual-wind calibre. Presented with original papers and booklets, please note the original papers state a different dial – most likely with the dial being changed later in its life by Patek.
