Introduced in 1912, the oval‑shaped Baignoire (“bathtub”) is one of Cartier’s most sculptural forms. The Allongée (“stretched”) variant elongates the case into a slender, elegant oval that wraps around the wrist like a piece of jewellery. Reference 2606 is a modern classic from the early 2000s, prized for its balanced proportions and understated Art Deco presence. A 2003 Cartier Baignoire Allongée in 18k rose gold. The 47x21mm rose gold case features a silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands with its classic blue cabochon‑set crown. This full‑set example has just returned from a complete factory service by Cartier in 2026 and carries a two‑year Cartier warranty, presented in excellent condition, with it’s original rose gold buckle and two extra straps.
