For your consideration is this Vacheron Constantin Contemporaine in platinum, an elegant and extremely rare dress watch without compare. The model was released in 2006 as a limited edition of 150 individually numbered pieces. The watch features an ultra-slim solid platinum case + crown and matching solid platinum dial with a frosted micro-grain appearance, while white gold hour markers and hands adorn it. With all its precious metal, in-hand the watch is substantial and much heavier than its sizing would intuitively suggest. It'll neatly slip under a shirt cuff, but you'll still feel its presence. Powering the watch is the Vacheron Constantin Calibre 1400. The movement is stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva, awarded independently to movements made, assembled and finished within Geneva to an exceptionally high standard. At only 2.6mm thick, the movement itself is both an exceptional engineering and artistic achievement.
