This model was produced for approximately ten years from 1965 and is one of Patek Philippe's iconic dress watch models. This particular example features a solid 18K yellow gold case in a cushion-shaped form factor, champagne coloured dial with sunburst finish, 18K gold hands + hour markers, running small seconds at 6 o'clock. Powering the watch is Patek Philippe’s beautiful calibre 27-460. It features a 38-hour power reserve, automatic winding via an 18k yellow-gold rotor, a Gyromax balance, and a Breguet hairspring. The movement is finished to an exceptionally high standard, with contrasting decoration across its plates, bridges, wheels, and rotor. It is also stamped with the Seal of Geneva, a third-party hallmark reserved for movements that meet strict standards of finishing, construction, and craftsmanship within the Canton of Geneva.
