Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 40mm 1996 This Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600, 40 mm, presents in excellent condition throughout. The case shows little to no wear in, with extremely sharp, well defined lugs and crisp factory brushing across the flanks. Crown guards are cleanly shaped and the unidirectional bezel turns with firm, even clicks; the insert displays clear numerals with only minimal handling on close inspection. Sapphire crystal is clear and free of distracting marks. The Oyster bracelet is likewise excellent, exhibiting little to no stretch or surface wear; links articulate smoothly and the clasp closes securely with a positive snap. The original tritium dial is clean, with printing sharp and the hour plots forming a pleasing cream patina. Hands are flawless, matching the dial with a similar warm tone and intact luminous fill. Crown action feels precise, winding and time setting are smooth, and the helium escape valve presents cleanly. A tightly preserved example that wears fresh and purposeful.
