Rolex GMT Master 1675 Pepsi 'Mk1' Tropical 40mm 1966 This 1675 presents in excellent vintage condition, with a case that has escaped the heavy polishing so common on sixties GMT Masters. The lugs remain extremely sharp with the original hand brushing still visible, there is no pitting or corrosion anywhere on the case, and both the serial and model numbers between the lugs remain intact and fully legible. The Mk1 dial is the centrepiece, in excellent condition and having developed an even, dark chocolate tropical patina consistent with six decades of gradual ageing. The hands match the dial beautifully and are equally well preserved. The bracelet is in good vintage condition, showing some stretch as expected for its age. Mechanically the watch is equally sound: serviced within the last twelve months, it passed a 5BAR pressure test with ease and, tested on our Witschi WAIO, is running within COSC tolerance. A remarkably honest example of a 1966 Pepsi.
