Tudor Submariner Oyster-Prince 7928 40MM 1967 Proudly presented by Crown Vintage Watches is this fresh to market, one owner Tudor Submariner Oyster-Prince 7928 from 1967. Purchased by its original owner Angelo in 1968 at just 19 years of age, this watch was worn and used as intended, accompanying him on dives and daily life for over 50 years. Accompanying the watch is a period photograph of Angelo as a young man wearing this very Submariner, offering a rare and personal connection that few examples retain. The case presents in excellent condition, with sharp, even lugs and only light wear visible. It has been lightly polished at some stage, though importantly the original proportions remain intact, with factory brushing still evident across the tops of the lugs and flanks. Crown guards are well-defined and the Rolex-signed screw-down crown sits square. Caseback edges remain sharp. The bezel is in good condition with clean numerals and light surface wear, with the lume pearl still present. The acrylic crystal is a brand new genuine replacement. The gilt dial is in very good condition, with an intact chapter ring, crisp printing and evenly aged tritium plots that have developed…
